đźš HUBBLY (HO**AH) SMOKING VS CIGARETTE SMOKING

Think smoking hubbly is safer because the smoke passes through water? Think again.

A typical cigarette is smoked over about 5–7 minutes, while a water-pipe session can last 20–80 minutes. During a ho**ah session, a person may take 50–200 puffs, potentially inhaling a very large volume of smoke.

The message is simple: water does not make smoking safe. Ho**ah smoke can expose users to harmful substances and carries serious health risks.

đź’š Choose health. Choose life. Choose to be smoke-free.

Know the facts. Protect your lungs. Protect your future.

🇿🇦 WOMEN’S DAY 2026 | KOPANO YOUTH PROGRAM

“Empowered Women Empower the Nation.”

Today, 9 August 2026, we honour the courage and resilience of the more than 20,000 women who marched to the Union Buildings in 1956, standing united against injustice and the extension of the Pass Laws.

Their courage became part of South Africa’s history—and their legacy continues to remind us that when women rise, families rise; when women are empowered, communities are strengthened; and when women lead, nations move forward.

At Kopano Youth Program (KYP), we believe that education is a powerful tool for empowering women and girls. By creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, lead and thrive, we honour the women of 1956 and contribute towards a more equal, inclusive and empowered South Africa.

Today, we celebrate every woman who continues to inspire change, break barriers, raise generations and transform lives.

Happy Women’s Day, South Africa! 🇿🇦💜

COMMON HUBBLY (HO**AH) MYTHS – DON'T
BE FOOLED! đźš

Many young people believe hubbly bubbly (ho**ah) is safer than ci******es—but that's a dangerous myth.

❌ Myth: Ho**ah is less harmful than ci******es.
âś… Fact: Ho**ah smoke contains toxic chemicals that can cause lung disease, heart disease, cancer, and carbon monoxide poisoning.

❌ Myth: Ho**ah is not addictive.
✅ Fact: It contains nicotine—the same addictive substance found in ci******es.

❌ Myth: The smoke is harmless to others.
âś… Fact: Second-hand ho**ah smoke exposes everyone nearby to harmful toxins.

Your lungs are still growing. Every session of ho**ah smoking can put your health and your future at risk.

Choose facts over myths. Choose health over addiction. Choose Life.

Kopano Youth Program (KYP) – Empowering young people to make informed, healthy choices!...
