Two women who were reported missing last month were both found dead

Zintle Takane was allegedly killed by her boyfriend after she last was seen leaving with him leaving in his white Mercedes Benz. Thato Tumahole(19) was allegedly killed by her boyfriend and her body was dumped in a closed mine shaft in Welkom. Her 22- year- old boyfriend confessed of killing her

20-YEAR-OLD WOMAN TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR ALLEGEDLY STABBING BOYFRIEND TO DEATH

Magatle: A 20-year-old woman is expected to appear before the Magatle Periodical Court on Friday 20 October 2023 for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death with a knife on Wednesday night at Khureng Village in Magatle Policing precinct.

According to the reports, the 32 year old victim arrived at his home at about 21h00, bleeding and seriously injured.
He then informed his family that he was stabbed by his girlfriend. An ambulance was summoned and the victim was transported to the nearby hospital where he later succumbed to the injuries. Police were alerted about the incident and upon arrival, they opened a case of murder and commenced with investigations.

The suspect was tracked down and arrested by the Investigating team in the early hours of Thursday 19 October. The Police are still Investigating the circumstances that led to the brutal act but domestic violence cannot be ruled out.

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has condemned the incident and urged community members to resort to lawful means when dealing with relationship challenges.

Police investigations are still continuing.
