What an informative session held at APD Worcester :
* How to care for people who had a stroke:*
*People who gets a stroke in your presents.*
*What resources you can refer them / their families to on their road to recovery*
How to help them to maintain their dignity, because despite the trauma, they are still very unique in their own capacity, respond to their needs, because they would still love to do small things for themselves to slowly speed up their recovery.
Having a very severe EYE Stroke, in 2019 this session meant everything for me. Because at the time of my stroke and the duration of it I wasn't equipped that much because their wasn't any referalls or a support group. Now I feel so much empowered, and motivated., to share my road of recovery with you. Feel free to inbox me. Let's share and care Let us not stay in isolation but get up and be that * Shining Light* in some else's life. Your testimony can safe someone's life.
