Take Beyond Leadership Initiative A NPO aimed at uplifting learners and equipping them with leadership skills and opportunities.

The Take Beyond Leadership Project is a non-profit, Section 21 Company established in October 2005 for the purpose of designing, supporting, managing and encouraging such social initiatives as would precipitate new realities in the lives of marginalized and previously disadvantaged South African communities. This company is presently incorporated within the Bester Burke Slingers Marketing and Adve

rtising Group of which Bryan Slingers is the Executive Chairman. The Take Beyond Leadership Project began its relationship with the Groenvlei High School in late 2011 as the teachers at that school began to grapple in earnest with what they regarded as the very urgent need to make considered, sustained, bold and creative interventions in the lives of their pupils in order to optimize the chances of success in meeting their collectively stated and agreed pedagogical purpose of opening a world of new and vibrant possibilities to their charges. Take Beyond Project incorporates the following initiatives: Some of these have already been launched whilst others are due to happen shortly.

Tickets will be on sale at R120 pp and can be bought at Groenvlei High from Monday 1 August.
