Maybe you need to hear this today…
You are not what happened to you.
Life has a way of giving us labels.
Rejected.
Abandoned.
Divorced.
Overlooked.
Not good enough.
Too old.
Too late.
A failure.
And if we hear those words long enough, we can slowly begin to believe that they describe who we are.
But your circumstances may be part of your story — they are not your identity.
God knew you before the disappointment.
He knew you before the rejection.
He knew you before the mistake.
And what happened along the way did not change what He placed inside you.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He prepared for us to do.
So today, don't look at yourself through the eyes of what happened to you.
Look again through the eyes of the One who created you.
There is still purpose in you.
There is still hope for you.
There is still more ahead of you.
ARISE. 🤍
You are not what happened to you.
You are who God says you are.
