🌱 Empowering young voices through knowledge and dialogue 🌱
Winterveeldt Agri Educational Skills Academy (WAESA), in partnership with the Department of Social Development, successfully hosted an Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) dialogue at Lehumong, WAESA’s new centre.
The session created a safe, informative, and engaging space for young people to discuss important issues affecting their health, well-being, decision-making, and future. Through open discussions, education, and community support, we continue to empower youth with knowledge, confidence, and life-changing opportunities.
WAESA extends heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Social Development, educators, and learners from Winterveldt High School for making this dialogue a success. Your participation is helping us break stigma, encourage healthy conversations, and ensure that every young person has access to accurate information, guidance, and support.
Together, we are building a healthier, informed, and empowered generation. ✨

πŸ’™ Pre-Loved, Re-Loved, Re-Purposed πŸ’™
31st April , WAESA proudly distributed pre-loved clothing and essentials to our amazing student beneficiaries. What may be β€œpre-loved” to one person becomes a source of dignity, warmth, and confidence to another.
This initiative is more than just giving β€” it’s about restoring hope, promoting sustainability, and reminding our young people that they are seen, valued, and supported.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and partners who made this possible. Your generosity continues to change lives in our community.
✨ β€œSmall acts of kindness can create big waves of change.”

Today we were honoured to host officials from the Department of Home Affairs at Winterveldt Agri-Educational Skills Academy (WAESA) πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦.
Community members came in numbers to receive assistance with ID card applications and other important documentation services through the Home Affairs mobile trucks. This initiative helped bring essential government services closer to the people and made it easier for residents to access documents that are important for employment, education, and social services.
At WAESA, we remain committed to supporting our community and creating platforms where people can access opportunities and services that improve their lives. 🌱

Abuse

Economic dependency

Limited opportunities

This is not just a discussion β€” it is a call for awareness, protection, empowerment, and action.

πŸ—£οΈ We invite YOU to be part of the conversation!

Starting from today we will be posting questions online about:

Causes

Prevention

Community responsibility

Youth empowerment

Support systems
