Phakamani empowers very poor women who have good self-employment ideas by giving them training and business loans starting as low as $100 to as high as $1500. Entrepreneurs in our program benefit from structured, on-going, group-based support, modeled on the internationally recognised Grameen Bank system. The goal of Phakamani's program is to increase the income, savings, and basic living conditio
