Child Protection: The main goal of this objective is to provide the intervention that prevents and mitigates violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect of children. further promotes, protects, and fulfills the right of children. The child protection program will ensure that children live in a supportive and caring environment that promotes their development and the realization of their rights and protect them from any form of violence or harm. Gender-based Violence Prevention Program: the organization believes that the survivor of GBV does not have the strength to pursue justice because of traumas and stress caused by GBV effects, the program aims to mitigate GBV and encourage the survivor to break the silence and report any exploitation and to transform socio-cultural norms with an emphasis on empowering women and girls. Conduct a GBV Risk Assessment Screening which improved GBV risk identification and management and Rebuilt family and community structures of support that do away with gender-based violence. Caring for School-going Girl: Aim to cater tendency to school-going girls from disadvantaged backgrounds who are unable to afford sanitary pads/protection and tend to miss school because of a lack of sanitary protection the program aims at distributing sanitary pads to the school-going girls. Young adult training and Teenage Pregnancy Program. School Awareness Programs: Promote early childhood household intervention and Provide individual tutorial/Homework assistance. Provide school material support to the disadvantaged children to encourage consistent school attendance, raise awareness about children's rights and responsibilities, and provide training and support to adolescents about sexually transmitted infection & Prevention, Bullying in school, and cyberbullying awareness campaigns. Tutorial/ homework Assistant: Promote early childhood intervention for kids who are struggling and Provide individual tutorial/Homework assistance. Educators program, educators have the biggest influence on a child’s life in preventing abuse they are the important safety net for children who are at high risk for abuse at home. Educators will be equipped with skills to identify abuse and able to encourage the learner to report such an incident. And they will be able to watch for red flags and behavioral and physical indicators that a child is being abused. Lastly, the educator will learn about being a trusted adult and learn to create an atmosphere of trust so that it will be easy for students to report anything concerning abuse. Community Orphan & Vulnerable Care and support: aims at Preventing and eliminating the recurrence of child maltreatment, connecting professionals and stakeholders from many disciplines to promote the best response to child maltreatment; and, Educating the public about child exploitation and how to report such incidents. Conduct community Dialogs, raise Community awareness, and radio awareness campaigns. Social Work Services: Providing assistance and advocacy to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families. Provide Therapy and counseling to victims of abuse and their families and the victims of Gender-based Violence, Conduct Case Work management, Conduct Group Work, individual casework, and Community work, and ensure the submission of form 22 as obligated by law to report abuse to DSD and for compliance with social development requirements. HIV/AIDS Prevention and Support Program
Offer holistic community-based care and support services to mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS and address the drivers of HIV, use Standardized HIV Risk assessments (DSD assessment) and Refer clients for testing to the approved service Provider/Clinics, Do the Referral of HIV positive Client to the nearest clinic for ART, Trace defaulted clients and ensure adherence to treatments. Address barriers to treatment adherence and provide support to beneficiaries that have poor viral suppression and facilitate Linkage back to care. Monitor the attendance of treatment appointments, raise awareness related to HIV/AIDS and do health-related Promotions, Ensure the support of the Global Target Strategy on HIV which stipulates that 95% of all people living with HIV should know their status, 95% of all people diagnosed with HIV receive sustained ART and 95% of all people receiving ART will have viral suppression. Hope for Future Generation Programs: the main aim is to provide Economic strengthening and offer Entrepreneur Skills, coaching, and mentoring for young adult
