On 15 May 2026, WRAP joined the integrated Healthy Lifestyle Campaign in Bekkersdal, bringing essential health information, support, and services closer to the community.

In collaboration with Westonaria Sub-District Health Promotion, WBPHCOT, Sizabantu Traditional Healers, and many other partners, the campaign created a valuable space for community members to access health education, referrals and support in ine place.

This initiative reflects the power of collaboration in strengthening community wellness, promoting prevention, and improving access to health services.

Together, we are building healthier, stronger, and better-informed communities 💙✊️❤️♥️✊️

Highlights from our 3-Days Refresher Training and Team building

Over the past three days, our team of Peer educators, Linkage Officer, Wellness counselors, volunteers and office staff came together for a powerful blend of refresher training and team building ,a space to strengthen skills,reconnect with purpose ,and support one another.

This wasn't only about improving technical knowledge but a safe moment to debrief and reflect on experiences in the field .

"The refresher training reminded me of the right steps and how to support clients better l, but the team building activities are what made it real and interesting. It gave us space to talk,debrief, and feel supported. I am going back to the community more confidently, more connected , and ready to provide better help. " ________Peer educator

Safer is sexy ____Condom Demo & HIV Testing Blitz ❤️

On 13 February, our team brought Sexual health straight to the community with a condom demonstration & distribution Blitz at the Pick n Pay Westonaria parking. Shoppers,workers &Community members learned correct condom use, l**e literacy, and HIV Prevention options including PrEP/PEP then picked up free condoms and accessed confidential HIV testing on site 🥰

Healthy Choices. Safer Futures

On 12 February 2026, we joined the Gauteng Department of Health for a Healthy Lifestyle Campaign focused on safe sexual behaviors.
Students and community members learned about correct condom use,STI prevention, HIV testing, and PrEP/PEP, and got practical tips on consent communication.

Safe choices protect dreams.
Use a condom every time. Test regularly. Talk openly.
