"Thank you, Father Jeff, for a beautiful service in remembrance of Sir David Amess, who was a steadfast supporter of St Vincent’s Centre, Southend. I fondly remember his visit to the Centre just 4 weeks before his tragic passing. Sir David was clear in his message: 'It is so great that a Catholic charity supports Southend City. Catholic means universal, inclusive to ALL.' He was immensely proud of our work, as we were of his incredible achievements for the city. A heartfelt thank you to the parishioners of St Peter’s for their generous Harvest donation."

Today, we say goodbye to a special person who lived out the SVP values. Brendan O'Connor was a humble man who Loved and Laughed with everyone.

Brendam was a great role model as a SVP member and his family, friends and SVP members are very proud of his achievements.

May his spirit live on through his beautiful children which he loved deeply and the SVP members who he inspired through his actions.
