Made For More

Made For More Including, equipping and empowering people with disabilities. ‘Made for More’ was founded and built on relationships.

Everything we do is created in and flows through relationships. While working at a school for the physically disabled in Durban, South Africa, our founder started to discover and see the need to invest in so much more than just education and sport and that there was a deep longing to know and be known more holistically. As her relationships grew with the children, a deep yearning for them to know

that they were created for more began to stir in her heart. While journeying with a boy, Ranetsi Manyoni and seeing the affect that sport had in transforming his life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, she began to wonder why it should stop there. ‘Made for More’ uses sport as a vehicle to bring hope, build relationships, and instill morals and values, while equipping and giving athletes the opportunity to pursue their sporting careers provincially and on a National level. When coaching, we don’t just focus on a physical, one dimensional level, but we seek to go deeper and to invest in the heart of the athlete. We desire our brothers and sisters to break free from societies conformities and stigma’s about who they are and what they can do, and discover that that are ‘Made for More’. We desire to see hearts and minds renewed as well as filled with a unique passion and purpose for their lives. We desire to see this people group restored and filled with love, acceptance and hope for a better future.

If you make your way to Scotties on a Tuesday morning, you will meet this amazing woman who will greet you with a big beautiful smile.
She sells books to raise funds for Made for More, she is also a home for your preloved books. She will also take your details and call once she has the book you need. She is usually helped by her friends Pauline and Lynn who are so kind and incredibly supportive to the course.
This is a definition of COMMUNITY! Thank you ladies! We love you

On 1 August, we had the joy of hosting over 50 youth at Amahlongwa for our Leadership Day Camp themed “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.” We explored how our choices as a society affect global warming, and why it matters that we care for our environment, our rivers, and the animals God has created. We also shared Clean hearts and minds, and continued the valuable education we received from Wild Alliance Africa on Marine Protected Areas, especially as we marked MPA Day. We are super grateful to the Oceans 8 Charity Swim for making this possible through the funds raised in this year’s charity swim back in May...Siyabonga kakhulu for helping us pour into the next generation with purpose, knowledge, and hope.

Some highlights from the SBS wheelchair challenge 2026! This is not just a day, it’s a season! What a time! We reconnected with people who have now become our family. We made deep, meaningful new relationships.
To some it all up - the goodness of God.

SBS Tanks has been the pillar. Bringing sponsors, beneficiaries, players, families and friends together. They worked so hard in the background putting everything together. We do not take any of it lightly.

EThekwini Spears always showing us how it’s done - bringing their professional players, chairs and equipment.

Delayne Gray - the true example of servant heartedness. Some of us got out of our wheelchairs in a few hours but he stuck to his commitment from the moment he woke up until he went to bed that night, his feet touching the ground only 3 times THE WHOLE DAY!

Lila Fine Art Photography ALWAYS at the right place at the right time, capturing unseen moments quietly in the background. Thank you for being a part of the Made for More family. We truly appreciate you and Leeanne Pillay
Neo Pillay we see you!

At Made for More, we believe with all our hearts that every person is created with purpose and potential.

Disability sports aren’t just about competition—they’re about dignity, community, love, and breaking barriers through the power of faith in action.

Every race, every goal, every victory is a testament to God’s strength working in us.
Let’s celebrate these incredible athletes who prove that with faith, nothing is impossible.
