If you're out and about this evening and spot a bunch of slightly frozen but highly motivated people in front of Ocean Basket at The Strip, don't worry... it's just the Round Table Welkom 40 Winter Knights team!
We'll be collecting blankets, warm clothing, non-perishable food, and donations to help those facing the cold winter nights in our community.
So while you're grabbing dinner or passing by, come say hello, support the cause, and help us warm more than just our hands tonight!

This winter, Welkom 40, together with CFAO Mobility and Toyota Welkom, invite our community to stand together and make a difference in the lives of those facing the harsh reality of winter without adequate shelter, clothing, or food.

● Time: 17:30 – 22:00
We are calling on businesses, families, and community members to support our annual Winter Knights Project by donating:
●Warm clothing
●Blankets
●Non-perishable food items
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us provide warmth, comfort, hope, and dignity to those who need it most.
Donations can be dropped off before the event at Toyota Welkom, or brought directly to Ocean Basket at The Strip on the evening of the event.
Together, we can warm more than hearts—we can change lives.

This winter, Welkom 40 is once again joining hands with our community to make a difference through our annual Winter Knights Project.
Date: 5 June 2026
Venue: The Strip, in front of Ocean Basket, Welkom
As the temperatures drop, many families in our community face the harsh reality of winter without adequate warmth or food. We are calling on the people of Welkom to help us bring hope and comfort to those who need it most.
We are collecting: Warm blankets, Jackets and warm clothing, Non-perishable food items Beanies, scarves and gloves
Donations can be dropped off beforehand at Welkom Toyota or brought directly to the event on the evening of 5 June.
Every blanket donated, every tin of food given, and every act of kindness helps change someone's winter.
You can walk past... or you can step up and be the difference someone is praying for.
Together, let's fight the cold and warm hearts this winter.

WARM HEARTS, FULL BOWLS
This Friday, 29 May 2026, Round Table Welkom 40 will once again be reaching out to those in need through our Soup Distribution initiative. A warm bowl of soup may seem small to some, but during these cold winter mornings it can make a world of difference to someone facing hardship.
Venue: Round Table Community Centre, Koppie Alleen
Time: 08:00 – 09:30 AM
We invite our community to stand together with us by showing kindness, compassion and care for those less fortunate. Every act of support helps us make a bigger impact.
