To the people of Welkom and every organisation that stood with us on Friday thank you 🙏🏻

YANA Foundation SA would like to sincerely thank every organisation, church, pastor, community leader, volunteer, partner and community member who supported our candlelight prayer gathering.

We came together to pray for the women and children of our country, to remember those affected by GBVF, and to remind one another that we cannot remain silent. 🙏🏻

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the organisations that joined us and helped make the gathering meaningful. Your presence, support and willingness to stand together mean more than words can express.

We would also like to sincerely apologise to the community for the confusion regarding the venue/hall.

The incorrect venue information was communicated on the original poster due to a last-minute mix-up while we were trying to secure a suitable indoor venue because of the cold and rainy weather. We understand that this may have caused inconvenience, frustration and confusion, and we sincerely ask for your forgiveness. 🥺

Despite the confusion, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who made the effort to come, stood with us, prayed with us and supported the cause. 🕯️❤️

Friday reminded us of something important: when organisations, churches and communities come together, we are stronger.

Let us continue working together against GBVF and for a community where women and children can live in safety, dignity and peace.

URGENT NOTICE DUE TO THE WEATHER‼️

We have a few changes , we've managed to find an INDOOR venue meaning our location moves from Welkom Central Park to Toronto Hall (Commando) and with these changes our time has also moved from 5pm to 3pm . Let's come together in prayer for the women and children of our country, for protection , healing, change .
