It always hits harder when something like this happens to someone in one’s own community. We are saddened to learn that one of our local residents has been a victim of a violent crime whilst travelling home and now faces a long journey of recovery. Whilst our NPO operates on a shoestring budget, we have made a small contribution and we urge you to donate anything you are able to assist this young gentleman, Senzo Dlamini.

We are so proud of our community’s little people who graduated from Sibanisethu preschool this weekend and will be embarking on their new journey at ‘big school’ in January. We are so grateful to everyone in the community who contributed towards making these students feel special on Saturday - from transport to tents and decor to catering and all those involved in this early childhood development phase of these students lives - thank you! We wish our students all the very best for their new adventure in 2026!

Today, we were pleased to spend time with two friends who joined us in Molweni for a focused planning meeting.

The discussion helped us define key next steps for fundraising to be able to launch our feeding scheme for 50 children and develop better support structures for survivors of child r**e and abuse in our community.

Strategic partnerships like this are essential as we build sustainable solutions and we are grateful for their input and commitment.
