A group of weekend warriors that want to raise funds and awareness against poaching. Mission:

To raise funds and awareness against the poaching of our countries animals and especially our Rhino's

Description:

If you want to raise funds for anti-poaching take the following steps:
1. Get the Team Mutual Safe kit (for riding or running),
2

. Enter as many timed events as you can,
3. Tweet of picture of you at the finish line in your gear with your mileage covered - even better if you post on Facebook as well,
4. Mutual Safes International will then donate R1.00 per Km to our chosen registered initiative against poaching. General Information:

Use the in each tweet along with a photo and the mileage that you have covered - you can post fun photo's at non timed events as well. Only timed events will count for donation. Order your kit at [email protected]

At the beginning of July, Team Mutual Safes Nicky Booyens aka "Turbo Mamba" took on her 6th Mac Mac Ultra 200 miler Trail Run in the Sabie/Pilgrims Rest area. She had a great run, smashing her previous course record by 2h51 minutes and claimed her 6th victory 🏆. Well Done Turbo, 👊🏼

🏃‍♂️👏 84 YEAR OLD JOHANNES MOSEHLA BREAKS HIS OWN COMRADES RECORD, AGAIN! 🇿🇦❤️
Johannes Mosehla, 84, from Polokwane, Limpopo, has once again become the oldest ever finisher of the ComradesMarathon, crossing the line in 11:12:27, almost 50 minutes inside the cutoff! 🏁

What makes this even more remarkable is his journey. Mosehla started running back in 1963, at just 21, but in the early 1980s, black runners were not permitted to enter Comrades. He later joined Polokwane Athletic Club, determined to finally get his chance. 💛

Since then, he has rewritten the record books, becoming the oldest finisher in 2023 at 81, again in 2025 at 83, and now in 2026 at 84! He has finished every Comrades he has entered since 2016.

He says he prefers the down run because he is lighter, and that Polly Shorts remains the toughest climb for him, but training three times a week keeps his body fresh. When asked about retirement, he simply said he is not thinking about it. 💪

A lifetime of patience, dignity and determination. Truly an Ultimate Human! 🙏
