🌼 EVERY DAY IS A LEARNING DAY AT DAISY AUTISM VILLAGE 🌼

At Daisy Autism Village, our days are filled with purpose, learning, participation and opportunities to grow. 💛

Our autistic young adults take part in a variety of structured daily activities designed to develop independence, communication, confidence and practical life skills.

From grooming and life skills to baking, arts & crafts, vegetable gardening, poultry farming and shopping, every activity provides an opportunity to learn by doing.

We also incorporate speech and language activities, AAC, fine motor activities, sports, horse riding and outdoor activities to support communication, physical development, social participation and overall wellbeing.

For us, progress is not only measured by big milestones. 🌱

It can be choosing an item while shopping.
Preparing something to eat.
Planting a vegetable.
Feeding a chicken.
Communicating a need.
Completing a task independently.
Learning to care for yourself.

These everyday moments matter because independence is built one skill at a time.

It was a great pleasure to host the Mampana’s family as they celebrate their son. They have been very supportive in the development and growth of our facility. We are truly grateful to have them as part of our family. May the good Lord richly bless them.

We celebrated one of our resident’s birthday this week. He turned 19 years. We celebrate each and every residents’ birthday at Daisy. We pray the Lord continues to bless and protect Rea. These are young adults whom as parents , we were always worried who will come to my child’s party as he doesn’t have friends. Daisy Autism Village is a place of friendship, belonging and acceptance, where neurodivergent young adults can celebrate their special occasions surrounded by their peers.

Happy 19th birthday, Rea! May you always know how deeply loved and valued you are. 💛

Our autistic residents went for hiking today Zoo farm. This was a lovely experience for them as they really enjoyed themselves.
