OVERVIEW :

The Proudly Three Rivers organisation was founded by a group of business men from Three Rivers who were concerned about the deterioration of our suburb. The founding members of the group came to the realization that unless members of the community were to get actively involved on a personal level, infrastructures in Three Rivers would drastically deteriorate to the point where families

would no longer be able to live a dignified life in an acceptable, safe and healthy environment. VISION:

To restore our suburbs infrastructure to working and maintainable levels, thus enhancing the health and safety of residents, the public and enforcing resource conservation. MISSION:

To take hands with the local Emfuleni Municipality and other stakeholders in order to assist the residents of Three Rivers, by creating a unified platform where the residents, local businesses and municipality can come together to discuss the concerns we have and to find a way forward. APPROACH:

In order to achieve our vision we will concentrate on infrastructure services where the residents and local business can make a contribution towards the implementation / outcome of the projects that we undertake. We will focus on the areas that are of greater concern to the residents, while assisting the residents with minor tasks as and when they are brought to our attention. We will always operate within the confines of the law and with the permission of the local authorities. When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility we will be able to achieve much. Committee:

We had so many calls over the last few months from residents requesting assistance in Touws Street . We need those same residents to now do their part and join Proudly and start making contributions.

We have spent extensive time in Touws repairing the road , and we will be there for a further few days in next week.

Please be on high alert. Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) has issued an urgent warning regarding fraudsters phoning and messaging local residents demanding immediate municipal account payments.
If you have an active billing dispute or pending query, be extra cautious—scammers are using this to make their demands sound believable.

⚠️ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
ELM will NEVER phone or message you to demand urgent, immediate payments under threat of cut-offs.
NEVER pay money into banking accounts provided via phone calls, SMS, or WhatsApp.

🛠️ WHAT TO DO:

1. STOP & DO NOT PAY: Hang up or delete the message. Do not click links or use bank details provided by callers.

2. SAVE THE EVIDENCE: Take screenshots of messages, note down telephone numbers, and save any banking details sent to you.

3. VERIFY DIRECTLY: Check your account through official channels before paying anything:
