// Gauteng CYCC Subsidy Delays

🛑 Subsidies Delayed, But Compassion Steps In

All AFM Welfare’s Child and Youth Care Centres (CYCCs) in Gauteng are still waiting for critical government subsidies. Although Service Level Agreements (SLAs) were signed with the Department of Social Development for most of the CYCCs, the funding - expected in early April - has not yet been received.

This delay places a severe financial burden on us as AFM Welfare Head Office and also on our CYCCs, impacting our ability to consistently provide for the children in our care.

🙏 Yet, in the face of this challenge, we are seeing the Body of Christ at work.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the anchor assemblies and faithful donors who are standing in the gap - buying prepaid electricity, groceries, fuel, and other necessities to keep things running.

Your support is not just practical — it’s life-giving. 💛 We continue to trust God for provision and breakthrough and invite more partners to walk alongside us in this time.

The Autumn school holidays have begun, and we’re hosting 22 children (ages 4–17) across three houses. We need help creating a fun holiday program with activities like nature walks, jumping parks, picnics, golf, or horse riding. Good afternoon everyone. The bank account is low. We are awaiting subsidies. We would appreciate it if you can contribute towards any of the following:

Remember we can issue a tax certificate. You can do an EFT and send proof of payment to [email protected] or If you buy groceries we will need the slip and a date stamped photo when you deliver. If you want to do a checkers 60/60 delivery we need the confirmation from Checkers with your name and the amount and then the house parents will take a date stamped photo.
