Small Paws on the Coast PBO 930076942 Feral cat's lives matter Thank you for being part of the journey and helping us change lives, one paw at a time 🐾

Small Paws on the Coast is a registered non-profit organisation run with heart and dedication, driven by a deep passion for animal welfare along the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Our core focus is TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) — humanely managing feral cat colonies to prevent suffering, reduce overpopulation, and keep colonies stable and healthy. In addition to TNR programmes, we also support welfar

💰 Current Costs
• Sterilisation of 1 feral cat: R500

🐾💕 This 8 week old fluffy girl is available for adoption! 💕🐾

She was found in a bush and has blossomed into the cutest little girl.

She’s showing all the signs of becoming a beautiful long-haired kitty with the fluffiest coat. 🥰

Her eyes have improved tremendously since yesterday! Thanks to good nutrition, lots of love, and a warm, safe place to rest, she is doing so much better.

She will be visiting the vet tomorrow for a check-up and her first vaccination.

💰 Adoption fee: R700
(Includes her sterilisation when she is old enough.)
📖 Vet card included
🏡 Home check applies
📍 Currently in the Manaba Beach area

❤️ She will be ready to join her new family within the next week.

Please contact Adina on 079 770 5146 for adoption enquiries.

📍LYDENBURG / STEELPOORT / BURGERSFORT AREA 🐾

🆘PLEASE HELP🆘

A tiny kitten (about 8 weeks old) was picked up next to a very busy road between Steelpoort and Burgersfort 💔

She is safe for now, warm and being fed, but the person who rescued her already has 5 cats and sadly can’t keep her.

This little kitten really deserves a chance at a loving home.

⚠️We are urgently looking for:
• A forever home
• Or even a temporary foster

Small Paws on the Coast will assist with the rehoming process 🙏

The kitten will need to be sterilised when she is old enough. To give some context, we previously paid R1300 for a feral cat sterilisation, which is quite high for us to sustain long term 😔

💛 We truly need help with:
• Someone willing to adopt this kitten
• Any recommendations for more affordable vets or sterilisation options in the area…

Please share and help us find her the safe and loving home she deserves!

🆘🚨 🆘🚨🆘

We are urgently looking for a foster home for a beautiful 6-month-old tortoiseshell kitty 💔

Her owner has been given until tomorrow morning to remove her from the property after she played too rough with a bunny — just her natural kitty instincts, but unfortunately the landlord is not willing to make exceptions.

The owner is also actively trying to find alternative accommodation, but with such short notice, we urgently need a safe place for kitty in the meantime.

✅She will need to be fostered temporarily
✅We will assist in finding her a forever home
✅Her sterilization is booked for 24 May

If you can open your home, even short-term, please reach out 🙏Or if you can’t foster, please share this post to help us find someone who can.

Let’s not let this little girl be left without a safe place 💛

Cat Maths ➕✖️🟰

Every unsterilised cat can lead to thousands more suffering on the streets. One male and one female can multiply into hundreds of thousands of kittens in just a few years 💔

Sterilising isn’t just about numbers — it prevents suffering, hunger, disease, and unwanted litters.

It’s just as important to sterilise your own DOMESTIC cats. Even loved pets can contribute to overpopulation if they roam or accidentally breed.

Be part of the solution, not the cycle.
Sterilise. Save lives. Be responsible🐾

These kitties come from different feral colonies and welfare cases. Four of them have also been placed on a farm as ratters to help control the rat population—and they are doing an amazing job!

They are Coco, Mimi, Marmite, and Luna.
