Drugs and Teenage pregnancy continue to be a growing challenge in UGU District as in many municipalities. Every year we experience a number of young children being addicted to drugs and our young females being victims of teenage pregnancy. With this pair, we've seen a huge number of drop-outs. Mostly the issue of dropouts affects girls as a result of pregnancies.
This week we tackle these social ills in three schools, namely; Zibonele Secondary School , Nomakhanzana Primary School and Dingimbiza Junior Primary School These awarenesses are very vital in helping to shape the minds of our future stars. As the saying goes, "it takes a village"
