✨ A Successful AGM Season for Women with Vision ✨

We are pleased to share that this year’s AGM meetings across our branches were very successful and productive. It was wonderful to see good attendance, meaningful participation, and valuable discussions as we reflected on our work and planned for the year ahead.

These meetings reminded us once again of the strength of our organization — dedicated members coming together with a shared passion to serve the community.

As we move forward, Women with Vision will be placing a stronger focus on healthcare programs. Our aim is to expand our healthcare outreach initiatives so that we can reach and support more communities in need.

For this important mission, we would greatly value the support of doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who may wish to volunteer their time and expertise. Your knowledge and guidance are essential for us to make a meaningful impact.

Women with vision was established in 2007 in Mthatha (Umtata) and has since grown into a national organisation with four branches across South Africa. Today, we are proud to have over 60 dedicated volunteers working together to uplift and support underserved communities, with a strong focus on women, children, health, and education.

STORM RELIEF APPEAL (MTHATHA)

URGENT STORM RELIEF APPEAL – MTHATHA

Last week, Mthatha was hit by a severe storm that caused extensive damage to many homes. Several families have had their roofs blown away and are currently living without proper shelter and electricity.

Women With Vision has received urgent requests for assistance from affected families, and we are appealing to our community, friends, and business partners to come forward and support.

We are currently in need of:

🔹 Roofing sheets (corrugated iron)
🔹 Timber
🔹 Nails and screws
🔹 Ceiling boards
🔹 Tarpaulins
🔹 Blankets
🔹 Building materials of any kind
🔹 Electrical wiring supplies
🔹 Monetary donations towards rebuilding

If you are a hardware supplier, contractor, or business owner willing to donate materials or offer discounted supplies, your support would be deeply appreciated.

Together, we can restore dignity and shelter to families who have lost so much.

Today on 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐱, we were joined by 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 from Women With Vision.

They are doing amazing work in our community by supporting ECDs in informal settlements with learning resources, helping children through their back-to-school programme, and providing dignity packs for young girls and the elderly. They also collaborate with other NPOs on feeding schemes, winter drives and various outreach projects. Thank you, Moira, for sharing the heart behind this important work.
