A New Chapter for Eyomphakathi Foundation

Eyomphakathi Foundation is not closing. It is being rebuilt.

After a difficult season of personal loss, healing, grief, and major life changes, I have decided to take time to rebuild myself and the foundation properly. For now, I will be focusing on my personal growth, studies, healing, and preparing for a stronger return.

Eyomphakathi Foundation was born from pain, but it continues to carry purpose. The vision remains: to support survivors, empower women and children, raise awareness, and help communities break cycles of abuse, trauma, and silence.

The official relaunch is planned for 2027.

This season is not the end. It is preparation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Eyomphakathi Foundation, believed in the work, and stood with me through every chapter. We will return with renewed strength, clearer vision, stronger systems, and a deeper commitment to serving our communities.

As we head to bed, remember that the devil nabathakathi bakhe never rest. They are persistent in their attempts to bring us down, so why should we grow weary in our prayers?

God never sleeps and is always listening. Our prayers are powerful and essential in overcoming darkness. Let’s stay steadfast and determined, knowing that our efforts in prayer are never in vain.

Rest assured that God is with us, guiding and protecting. Stay strong in your faith and keep praying.

I recently came across a powerful and moving story that resonated deeply with me. Nhlanhla Mafu, the talented singer from Mafikizolo, bravely opened up about her battle with hearing loss. She shared how she was in denial for a long time and felt ashamed of her condition, losing 60% of her hearing in her left ear and 30% in her right ear. It took her immense courage to finally seek help and start using hearing aids.

Reading her story hit home because I, too, know the pain and frustration of not being able to hear clearly. It's disheartening when you struggle to engage in conversations, and it’s even more challenging when people misunderstand your situation and treat you differently.

Nhlanhla's journey is a powerful reminder that hearing loss is not something to be ashamed of. It's a condition that can affect anyone, regardless of age. Her courage to speak out and seek help is inspiring and gives hope to many of us facing similar challenges.

I want to echo her message and encourage anyone experiencing hearing difficulties to seek help. Don't let pride or fear hold you back from improving your quality of life. And for those who don't face these challenges, please be patient and understanding. Your kindness and support can make a world of difference.
