ARBOUR DAY IS COMING! 🌿

The Umdloti Conservancy and Umdloti Smart Village are working together to beautify the entrance to our village. If you have a few hours to spare on Saturday, 12, we invite you to:

•⁠ ⁠Roll up your sleeves;
•⁠ ⁠Breathe in the fresh sea air;
•⁠ ⁠And, swap the gym for a morning of planting, community and great vibes;

📆 Date: Saturday, 12 September
📍Location: Meet at the Taxi Rank
⏰ Time: 9:00am

What To Bring:

•⁠ ⁠Spade
•⁠ ⁠Sunblock
•⁠ ⁠Gardening gloves
•⁠ ⁠Great vibes

As always the Umdloti Conservancy will have indigenous plants for you to purchase. Beautify your own garden OR donate back to the Conservancy to be planted up.

• Keep your dog on a leash in public areas where required.

Exciting things are taking root this spring! The long-awaited beautification of the stormwater culvert and traffic circle at the entrance to Umdloti is finally becoming a reality—just in time for Arbor Day.

In collaboration with the Umdloti Smart Village and the Umdloti Conservancy, experienced landscapers are developing a thoughtful planting plan and landscape design to transform this key gateway into a vibrant, welcoming space that reflects the natural beauty of our village.

This is more than just a landscaping project—it's an opportunity for the community to come together and make a lasting difference.
