But this week also reminded us why your support matters most. A family of five lost their home to fire, and because of our GlobalGiving community, we could say: "We've got you." 🏠❤️

We finally did it! 🎉🌈 After THREE postponements due to flooding, our Annual Colour Run happened, and over 190 kids showed up, some walking from dawn to get there! The joy, the dancing, the colour… it was absolutely worth the wait. 💛

These children didn't just want a run. They wanted to be together, to be seen, and to celebrate, and that's exactly what happened.

A third of the way through the year and so much is already happening! 🌍 Nkulu is back from Zambia, our Self-Help Groups showed incredible resilience through the recent floods, and we're laying the groundwork for a People's Federation that will give thousands of families a real voice.

THANK YOU NOTE: CAMPOREE 2025 – A Huge Success!

As you may have noticed from the below posts, this past weekend, we hosted a very successful Camporee (Limpopo Scouts - Annual Skills Competition)! 👏

A heartfelt thank you to all our staff members for making this event possible, and to Keep The Dream 196 and Limpopo Scouts for their incredible dedication in bringing it to life.

We also want to express our gratitude to our amazing supporters: Khulani Timbers, Spur Tzaneen, Westfalia Fruit, Finer Woodworks, and Bona Group for their generous contributions.

Special thanks to Bassjon and Pit for serving as our guest judges, and last but certainly not least, to the 140 Scouts from nine different Troops who showcased their impressive skills and spirit throughout the weekend. 🏕️🔥

What an incredible Camporee 2025! Over 140 children and 9 troops came together to put their skills to the test in first aid, camping, mapping, arts & culture, and pioneering. 🏕✨

This isn’t just a camp, it’s a place where kids overcome their past, build confidence, and dream bigger than ever before. Every trophy handed out was a symbol of resilience, hope, and teamwork.

Our Cub Warrant training is in full swing as 20 incredible volunteers dive into a week of learning, fun, and preparation to create unforgettable experiences for kids aged 7–11. And the best part? Camporee is just around the corner, and the excitement is contagious! 🌿🔥

Today, she’s a confident young woman studying Information Science at university, leading her own troop, and mentoring younger children to believe in themselves. 🌱
