Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre

Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre, is an NPO. Together we can make a difference. Westlake is home to 12 000 local and foreign residents living on the bread line.

Our Registration number is 181-173 NPO
Amazing Grace's main objective is to empower and uplift the lives of children in the Westlake Community. Some of the children have never been given the basis of reading and writing. Others are from abused backgrounds and have difficulty in learning and communicating due to trauma or have physical setbacks. Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre aims to address this

imbalance by identifying children, of various ages, that need assistance to bridge the divide between a restricted development and a positive future. This can be achieved through individual focus on particular difficulties and offering the remedial opportunities to rectify them. Such disadvantages include, literacy and numeracy deficiencies, physical handicaps such as speech impediments, underdeveloped muscular systems, hearing and vision impairments and social imbalances. Our Aim is to introduce Occupational Therapists, Physio Therapists, Speech Therapists, Counselors, Psychologists and Remedial teachers. Our hope is that through the various remedial interactions, these children would be able to re-enter the normal schooling system. We would also like to introduce art, music sport and dancing classes for kids who might not have an academic future, either from fetal alcohol syndrome or other mental impairments. The organisations secondary objective is to work with other organisations and ECD's in the community, to identify where problems exist and to remedy them together. We also aim to assist with other community projects, such as soup kitchens, kids club etc, where possible. We would like to arrange talks where the parents int he community can be taught how to assist with the remedial process. Life is a Gift and it offers us the privilege, opportunity and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.

Yesterday was a very emotional day at Vulindlela as we said goodbye to one of our precious little ones.

After being part of our family for such a long time, it was incredibly difficult to see him leave. While our hearts are sad, we are also so happy that he is being given the opportunity to be reintegrated with his family.

He will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and the memories we have made together will stay with us forever.

We wish him every happiness, love and success as he begins this new chapter. May he always know just how deeply he is loved.

Goodbye, little one. You will be missed more than you know.

Welcome, little one

Today we welcome a beautiful new little boy into our Vulindlela family. At just three years old, he has already begun a new chapter, and we feel so blessed to be part of his journey.

Our hope is that while he is with us in foster care, he will know love, safety, kindness and the comfort of a place he can call home.

We can’t wait to watch him grow, learn, laugh and discover the world around him. We pray that this journey will bring healing, happiness and many precious memories.

Welcome to Vulindlela, little one. You are loved, you are safe, and you are not alone.

A Heartfelt Thank You

From April to July, the Westlake Majors were held at Westlake Golf Club, and we were incredibly blessed to be chosen as the beneficiary of the funds raised throughout this wonderful event.

We would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to Westlake Golf Club for hosting such an incredible event, and especially to Jason Willmans for putting Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre forward as the beneficiary. Your decision has made a very real difference to the children and families we support in Westlake.

A very special thank you also goes to Jill Willmans from Secure FX, the sponsor of this incredible event, and to the entire Willmans family for your unwavering support of Amazing Grace.

The impact you have made on the children at Vulindlela, and on all the children we are blessed to work with every day, is immeasurable. Your generosity helps provide hope, care, education, food and opportunities to children who need it most.

We honestly would not be able to do the work we do without people like you standing beside us.

Thank you, Jason. Thank you, Jill. Thank you, Secure FX. Thank you, Westlake Golf Club.

Thank you for believing in what we do, for believing in our children, and for helping us continue to make a difference — one child, one family and one life at a time.

🌸 This Women’s Day, Give the Gift of Dignity 🌸

No girl should have to miss school because she doesn’t have access to sanitary pads.

At Amazing Grace Upliftment Centre, we support vulnerable girls and young women in our community, but we need your help. A simple packet of sanitary pads can restore confidence, protect dignity, and help a young girl stay in school and focus on her future.

This Women’s Day, we invite you to make a difference by donating:
💗 Sanitary pads
💗 Panty liners
💗 New underwear (teen sizes)
💗 Toiletries

Every donation, no matter how small, reminds a girl that she is valued, seen, and cared for.

📍 Drop off donations at:
