The study found that learners experience difficulties in Mathematics due to language barriers, limited guidance, inadequate resources, and insufficient mathematical terminology. It further revealed that Tshivenda bilingual dictionaries play a significant role in improving conceptual understanding by clarifying mathematical terminology, expanding learnersโ vocabulary, and supporting bilingual learning approaches. However, the study also highlights a shortage of appropriately developed Mathematics dictionaries, particularly for use in the Foundation Phase.
The Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education congratulates ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐จ ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ค๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ข on this outstanding academic achievement and wishes her continued success in her scholarly, professional, and cultural contributions
