Empowering Tourism Through Knowledge & Opportunity! 🌍

We successfully hosted a Capacity Building Session on Tradeshows for Tourism Products in partnership with Thulamela Local Municipality, aimed at equipping our tourism stakeholders with valuable insights on how to effectively participate in and benefit from trade shows.

The session featured informative presentations by SEDFA, LIEDA, LTA, and ourselves as the Tourism Association, highlighting funding opportunities, market access, product readiness, and the importance of strategic positioning within the tourism value chain.

We are truly encouraged by the engagement, questions, and commitment shown by our local tourism products to grow and compete on broader platforms. 👏

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners and attendees for making this session a success. Together, we are building a stronger, more competitive tourism sector!

The Thulamela tourism association hosted their briefing session following the awarding of the opportunity to host SANDF Armed forces day in the Thulamela local municipality. The event welcomes around 7000 people that will need to hosted in our areas. The association given the brief saw it best to extend the opportunity to our neighbouring municipalities namely Collins chabane, Musina and Makhado to create a standard our guests would identify as the Vhembe experience.

Thulamela Local Municipality addressed attendees on expectations towards the value chain of the event and the experience that comes with hosting an event of this magnitude.

Our chairperson Mrs Nephalama gave a presentation on Compliance, bookings and overflow management for a seamless experience for all involved.

We look forward to more engagements and collaboration between all stakeholders.
