Poverty is a complex pandemic that manifests itself in multiple levels and layers and each layer and level feeds the next. The organization applies design thinking as a tool that departs from the identification of a problem cause, to possible impact driven long term interventions and solutions. Our design thinking process is beneficiary centric with much focus is on feasibility, viability, sustain

ability of interventions post implementation. Our interventions vary from Agriculture, Social Facilitation, Community Development, Enterprise Development, Skills Development and Work Creation. The implementation timeframe is ordinarily not longer than 12 months. The process of extrication is identification of poor households through a process of visitation and profiling, packaging of suitable interventions, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The NGH Foundation’s approach in the fight against poverty is also comprehensive in sense that the organization profiles households before adoption and the approach also looks seek for “low hanging fruits” within the household that the organization could capitalize on to quicken the process of extrication and improving the livelihood of these poor household.
