Resurrecting the fire that once burned in us.
The Importance of the Fire
Leviticus 6:13 – The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
1. The Fire Came from God
The altar fire was not man-made. God Himself sent the fire from heaven to consume the sacrifice (Leviticus 9:24). This showed that God accepted the offering and that His presence was among His people.
2. The Fire Represented God's Presence
The continual burning of the fire was a visible sign that God was dwelling with Israel. Wherever God's fire was present, His glory, power, and favor were evident.
