We are a newly established NPO situated in Strand in a community called Lwandle. Our organisation deals with taking care of the elderly citizens that cannot do much for themselves. We are helping the older people in our community at times when their families are at work or absent in their lives. We help them with Activities, Muscle stimulation, Reading, Art and Craft, Gardening, and many other activities. Our aim is to keep them active as they are facing difficulties in their day to day lives.
At this moment we are still waiting for the second certificate from the Social Development Department where we will be able to access funding from the Government but that will still be a drag.
The reason for us writing this letter is that we are asking for donations so we can so long be able to go forward helping the elderly, if you can find it in your heart to donate anything to this organisation which would be anything from Food, Money, Appliances, Furniture, Clothing, Wheel chairs, First aid kits, Tools, Blankets anything that we can use to keep the facility operating that would be highly appreciated.
