Day 2 of Aardklop 2026 🎨✨

Today our learners visited the Art Gallery as part of our ongoing learning excursions. Every quarter, we take learning beyond the classroom and give our learners an opportunity to experience different spaces, institutions and ways of learning.

Art is powerful. It speaks when words sometimes cannot. Watching our learners engage with the artwork, express themselves and learn about the different art programmes was really special.

We believe learning doesn’t always have to happen behind a desk. Sometimes, you need to step into a gallery, look at something differently, ask questions, get inspired and discover something new. ❤️

Creating opportunities like these is part of giving our children exposure, confidence and a broader view of the world.

Learning can happen anywhere. 🎨📚❤️

🎨 Art, creativity and new experiences! 🖌️❤️

Our older-aged learners had a wonderful time painting their own canvas and visiting the art gallery. It was beautiful to see them express themselves through art, explore new ideas and experience learning beyond the classroom.

We believe every child deserves opportunities to discover, create and see the world differently.

Aardklop 2026— here we come!

Our aftercare learners and programme beneficiaries are attending an exciting experience at North-West University during Aardklop 2026 🎨📖✨

For us, it’s more than just attending an event it’s about giving our children opportunities to explore, learn, experience new things and see possibilities beyond their everyday surroundings.

We are excited to create more memories, expose our learners to arts and culture, and continue empowering tomorrow, one child at a time. 💙💚🧡

🇿🇦 Happy Heritage Day! ❤️💚💛💙

Today we celebrate the beautiful diversity that makes us who we are — our cultures, traditions, languages, food and stories. Let’s embrace our differences, celebrate our shared humanity, and teach our children to be proud of where they come from. ❤️

Celebrating our heritage, celebrating one another.

Storytelling in Aftercare!

Today our facilitator took our learners on a little journey through the magic of storytelling. ❤️ Stories help children listen, learn, imagine, build confidence and discover new ideas.

Small stories today can inspire big dreams tomorrow.

💔 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

The recent deaths of women in Gauteng have left many of us frightened, heartbroken and asking: When will women be safe?

Every woman deserves to walk, work, exercise and live her life without fear.

This is not only a women’s issue. Gender-based violence is a community issue, a societal issue and a responsibility we all share.

At Bokamoso Ba Bana Ba Rona, we stand with the families who are grieving and with every woman who is living with fear.

Let us speak up. Let us protect one another. Let us teach our children respect, empathy and accountability.

Women deserve safety. Women deserve dignity. Women deserve to come home. 💚

🕊️ May the families of those who lost their lives find strength and support during this painful time.
