Being the keeper of your sister. Willing to jump in when you see she is drowning. Drowning under the burdens of life and want to give up??

She was drowning.
And nobody noticed…
Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
and brought her back up.
She saved her life.

This story left me thinking…

Who knows you well enough to notice when you’re not okay, even if you’re still smiling?
Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

And more importantly…

Would you be that person for someone else?
Are you present enough in your loved ones’ lives to sense the moment they start to sink?
Or are you just another spectator, clapping, not realizing that inside, they’re fading?

In this life, we all need someone who doesn’t just see us—
but truly notices us.
Someone who knows when we’re about to give up,
and has the courage to jump in and save us.

Sisterhood connecting as one.

Sis are you POURING from an EMPTY cup?

It us the 11thmonth of 2024 and everyone is crying out “I am physically exhausted, I need a holiday”.

Lately, I've been thinking about how many of us are running on empty, trying to pour from empty cups. Maybe you're there right now, I know I've been.

But here's what God's been teaching me: His strength shines brightest in our weakness.

Sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is rest. Not just physical rest, but soul rest, that deep renewal that comes from laying our burdens at Jesus' feet.

We sometimes carry a FALSE burden that we must be everything to everyone especially in ministry.

Sis, your WORTH isn't in your PRODUCTIVITY. It's in being God's beloved DAUGHTER.

IT IS OK💗

When you feel the weariness kick in today, take a moment. Breathe. Tell God exactly how tired you are. Know that He's not disappointed, He's waiting with open arms.❤️

"Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, ESV)

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (2 Corinthians 12:9, ESV)

He is your STRENGTH AND YOUR SHIELD🧡

GOD IS WITH YOU

I brlieve this word is for someone out there and I truly pray and hope this will bring encouragement to your heart.

No matter what you’re going to face today or this week or next year, you won’t face it alone. God is with you, he is in you, and he is for you.

Philippians 2:13 says, “God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him” (NLT).

God is working in you. The word “working” in Greek is the word energos, from which we get our word “energy.” God is the energy driver in your life.

You’re not just going on willpower.

You’re not just going on your own power. God says he will give you the power you need, no matter what you’re facing.

Not only is he in you, but he is also with you.

The Bible says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you . . . On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you” (John 14:18, 20 NIV).

That’s quite a promise!

The Bible says that Christ is in you, that you’re sheltered with him, and that you’re sealed with the Holy Spirit.

That means that, for the Devil to get to you, he’s got to get through the Trinity.

That’s pretty good protection and a great relief from fear.

Not only is God with you and in you, but God is also for you. Psalm 23:6 says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (ESV).

When a shepherd leads the sheep, guard dogs are always at the back, keeping watch and making sure the sheep move in the right direction.

The Bible says that the guard dogs in your life are God’s goodness and mercy.
God’s goodness and mercy are always at work in your life.

God gives you the things you don’t deserve—that’s his goodness.

And he doesn’t give you the punishment you deserve for you sins—that’s his mercy.

His goodness includes the blessings you experience now but also the gift of your salvation: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV).

God is watching over your life!

You ought to get up every morning and say with confidence, “God, thank you that you’re going to be with me today, you’re going to be in me today, and you’re going to be for me today.”

That’s good news that helps you get rid of fear of whatever you’re facing and replace it with a divine joy instead.

Let’s pray 🙏
Dear Lord, Thank you for being with me in every moment of my life. Thank you that I never have to be alone because You, God love me so much that you are here with me always. May each moment of my day be filled with that life-strengthening truth. I love you, Lord. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen

Church without walls without borders.

I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup!

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out.

It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled!!

So today ask yourself... “what's in my cup?"

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger”

Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God has forgiven you.”

Proverbs 15:4 – “A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.”

Let’s 🙏

Heavenly Father, You are worthy of all my praise and I want my words to be pleasing to You. Help me to control my tongue-not to speak words that wound the spirit, but words that bring peace and healing and hope. Give me words to speak to others that will bless their lives. Remind me to also speak good things over myself. Lord, help me to grow in my own personal knowledge of Your Word so that I can speak the truth boldly over every situation that arises in my life and resist the devil. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Your Word. I pray that it will be on my lips today and every day. Amen." In Jesus name I pray. Amen
