✨Edlin's Story ✨
In our final video with past bursars, Edlin shares how Geleentheid Trust impacted her life by enabling her to attend Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof, now being a second year student at Stellenbosch University. Because of the support provided by Geleentheid Trust, she is the first person in her family that has been able to attend University. We feel honoured to have such deep impact on lives.

🤍 This week is International Learning at Work Week! To make an impact with us, it can be as simple as hosting one of our learners to shadow for a week, volunteer with you, or to do some vacation work!
✨This is where magic can happen - learning outside of the classroom, giving our community kids exposure & experience.

If your business is based in Stellenbosch, Paarl, or Kuils River, you are in the position to make an impact in a very practical way. You don't always need a budget to make a difference - just an open desk and open heart.

More than a just a once-off bursary... we walk a road with our bursars for years. 🌱
From their first candidate selection academic Boot Camp, until the end of their matric exams, we provide support as much as we can - taking hands with parents to help ensure their child can seize every opportunity. 🤍

Natasha is one of our fantastic former bursary recipients.
She shares how Geleentheid Trust changed her life, enabling her to attend a high school that opened her world and paved the way for her future. She is now a graduate of Stellenbosch University! Natasha is a true example of paying it forward and making a change in her community: she is completing her Honours degree in Education while teaching at her former primary school.
