As we ⚡speed⚡ towards the end of the term, we're gearing up for our second Boot Camp of 2026.
This is where we, for a whole week during the holidays, get together with our Gr. 6 candidates, and Gr. 7 group who was part of our programme.
The Boot Camp is one of the ways in which we aim to give learning and development opportunities to our candidates 🌱

We're looking forward to seeing our candidates, and spending some more time with them 🤓

⚡️The 3rd term is in full swing, and we are in full action mode for the rest of the year... plus already planning for next year! ⚡️ Highlights like this from our Winter Maths Workshops with the Gr. 6's keep us going... seeing the impact we have in our communities 🤍
🌱 Our impact stretches further than solely high school bursaries - our Gr. 6 candidates get two week-long Boot Camps where we focus on mathematics & literacy as well as social skills, resilience and EQ, along with the Maths Workshop.

💛 This is all part of Geleentheid Trust's heart - impactful, transformative change in our communities through good high school education for kids who have the academic potential and financial need 💛.

📣 We've been a bit quiet, but there has been lots of activity behind the scenes! 🤓Last week, we hosted Maths Workshops for our Grade 6 candidates 📚 Cold & early mornings were brightened by lots of fun (yes, maths can be fun!) and bright smiles.
🤍 Thank you to our supporters for making this valuable opportunity possible.
A special thank you to the school community in Kuilsriver, Paarl and Stellenbosch who hosted us! Paarl Girls' High - Hoër Meisieskool Paarl Rhenish Girls' High School 🤍

✨Edlin's Story ✨
In our final video with past bursars, Edlin shares how Geleentheid Trust impacted her life by enabling her to attend Hoër Meisieskool Bloemhof, now being a second year student at Stellenbosch University. Because of the support provided by Geleentheid Trust, she is the first person in her family that has been able to attend University. We feel honoured to have such deep impact on lives.

We're very proud of Edlin, and looking forward to the great things she will accomplish - the foundation of which was laid by Geleentheid Trust 🌱

Join us as we change lives & our community through bursaries for high-potential kids.

🤍 This week is International Learning at Work Week! To make an impact with us, it can be as simple as hosting one of our learners to shadow for a week, volunteer with you, or to do some vacation work!
✨This is where magic can happen - learning outside of the classroom, giving our community kids exposure & experience.

If your business is based in Stellenbosch, Paarl, or Kuils River, you are in the position to make an impact in a very practical way. You don't always need a budget to make a difference - just an open desk and open heart.
