💗 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗭𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 💗

There was great excitement at 𝗡𝗴𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶 on Friday as Reach for Recovery Zululand hosted a special Ditto breast prosthesis fitting clinic.

Janet and Hloniphele had the privilege of 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟭𝟴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆 patients with a silicone breast prosthesis and a new bra, helping to restore comfort, confidence and dignity on their recovery journey.

The day was made even more special thanks to 𝗗𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁, whose kindness and compassion inspired a beautiful celebration for the patients. What began as a fitting clinic became a joyful gathering filled with smiles, laughter and hope.

Moments like these remind us that 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁—it's about helping women feel whole, supported and empowered once again.

⛳💗 𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 💗

The beautiful 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 proved to be the perfect venue for the Reach for Recovery Durban Golf Day Fundraiser held on 21 May in support of our Ditto Project.

From the moment the day began, there was an incredible atmosphere of warmth, laughter, generosity, and togetherness that carried through the entire event. 𝗔 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.

Although the exciting R75 000 Hole-in-One prize remained unclaimed, the energy and enthusiasm on the course never faded.

One of the highlights of the day was a lively auction led by a professional auctioneer, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝟰𝟳 𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲.

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, helping provide silicone breast prostheses to breast cancer patients in state hospitals after mastectomy surgery—restoring dignity, confidence, and hope.

At the recent Reach for Recovery Durban AGM, each volunteer was 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲—𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.

𝗘𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲, 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, compassion, and support. As the meeting began, every volunteer lit the candle of another—creating a beautiful chain of light throughout the room.

🌸 The love, unity, and camaraderie shared between our volunteers was deeply moving and 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.
