Equité is a private student organization (PSO) which offers day-students (those with their own accommodation) the same opportunities and structure as would a University residence regarding sport, social and cultural activities. Sororities began as a way for women to find intellectual and social companionship with one another and this is why we make every effort to reach our goal: Ladies of Equité
strive to be well-rounded, accomplished and respectable in every facet of her life on campus and we work together to further that accomplishment to prepare her for the journey beyond the campus. The house committee (HK) is composed of ladies who are willing and able to guide and encourage our ladies to strive, reach and fulfill their potential. We have chosen Angel Wings as our symbol to represent each of our ladies’ own wings; those brilliant wings which she will one day spread and be magnificent where ever she may fly. As ‘n student by die Universiteit Stellenbosch en die PSO wyk, sal jy ‘n ryk student lewe ervaar. Met ‘n positiwe gesindheid sal jou universiteitslewe die beste tyd van jou lewe wees en jy moet hierdie geleentheid met altwee hande gryp. As ‘n PSO sal ons graag die pad saam met jou stap en jou ondersteun. Equité waarde is: Liefde, Eenheid, Respek, Passie, Deursettingsvermoë, en 'Sisterhood'. Hierdie is die waardes wat ons uitleef as studente en ons glo jy sal ook. Equité se naam stam uit die Franse woord vir opreg. Equite is ‘n jong PSO (Private Studente Organisasie) wat vir studente wat nie in ‘n koshuis bly nie, eenheid skep. Ons maak seker dat hulle ten volle by die universiteit se sosiale en akedemie inskakel.Ons is gehegte familie streef daarna om ons merk te maak en die lewens van ons PSO meisies te verryk!
