The SAVF Women's Group also honoured Child Protection Week. The different types of abuse and how to report suspected child abuse and deliberate neglect was discussed. As part of there outreach, each lady made a little teddy that they could give to a vulnerable child, as a gesture of care and love.

Empowering the future, SAVF Standerton, alongside John and Jané, embarked on a mission to educate and uplift the young minds at two ECD facilities in Standerton and Stanwest, in the lead-up to Child Protection Week, teaching them about the different types of abuse, the actions to take when someone hurts them, and the trusted individuals they can confide in when they or a friend needs help, because protecting our children is safeguarding the future.
