After last week's weather postponement, we're so happy to say that the St Francis Market is on this Saturday, 15 August!

And it looks like the weather is going to be much kinder to us this time around. ☀️

While we may have a slightly smaller market than usual, many of your favourite stallholders will be there, ready to welcome you for a relaxed Saturday morning under the trees.

Come for your favourite coffee - Stay for something delicious to eat - Discover beautiful original art - ️ Browse local handmade treasures - Find fresh and local goodies - And enjoy catching up with our wonderful market community

Sometimes a smaller market is just the perfect excuse to slow down, wander around, chat to familiar faces and discover something new.

With the weather forecast predicting strong westerly winds for this Saturday, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the St Francis Market.

While we were looking forward to celebrating Women's Day weekend with you, the safety and comfort of our stallholders, shoppers and visitors must always come first. Strong winds and an outdoor market simply aren't a good combination.

Our market has been rescheduled to Saturday, 15 August.

The good news is that all your favourite stallholders will still be there with fresh produce, delicious treats, handcrafted products and plenty of friendly smiles—we'll just be welcoming you one week later.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We know many of you were looking forward to spending Saturday morning with us, and we can't wait to see you next weekend instead.

August is here, bringing with it the promise of fresh beginnings, beautiful winter days, and the celebration of Women's Month.

As we look forward to our St Francis Market next Saturday, 8 August, we're taking a moment to celebrate the incredible women who make our market so special. From the talented stallholders who pour their hearts into creating beautiful products, to the growers, bakers, makers, volunteers, and the wonderful women who come to shop, support and connect – thank you for being such an important part of our market family.

But no celebration is complete without recognising the husbands, partners, families, friends and all the wonderful men who stand alongside these amazing women, encouraging, supporting and sharing in the journey. Community is built together, and we're grateful for each and every one of you.

So, save the date and join us on Saturday, 8 August, as we celebrate local talent, friendship, good food, fresh produce, handmade treasures, and the wonderful community that makes the St Francis Market such a special place.
