An early morning, excited Scouts, and memories made in the air. ⚜️✈️

Springs Central Air Group joined the regional Air Scouts activity alongside 4th Benoni, 56 Microland, 9th Irene, Fairlands and Harmelia Air Scouts.

For some, it was their very first time flying, and what an experience to remember.

This is Air Scouting. Adventure, confidence, opportunity and memories that stay with them.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! ⚜️✈️

Yesterday, Springs Central Air Group joined the other Air Scout troops in our region for a very special 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆.

It was an early start, but the excitement on the faces of the Scouts made it more than worth it. For some, it was their very first time flying. For others, it was another reminder of just how many doors Scouting can open.

A big thank you to all six Air Scout troops who took part:

A very special thank you must go to Mervyn Reynolds. Mervyn is a flight instructor, and without his time, effort and organisation, this event would not have been possible. Thank you for arranging the event, coordinating the pilots, and helping to ensure that all the necessary safety requirements were in place.

These are the mornings our Scouts will remember for a long time. New experiences, nervous smiles, big excitement, and memories made in the air.

This is what being part of Springs Central Air Scouts can offer young people, opportunity, adventure, confidence, and moments they may never have imagined possible.

There’s music, food, market stalls, animals, fresh air, and the obstacle course is ready for anyone keen to give it a go.

Come for a picnic, stay for the vibe, and support your local Scouters.

Come spend Sunday at Jack D’Arrigo Park with Springs Central Air Scouts.

Bring your picnic basket, cooler boxes, camping chairs, blankets, family and friends, and enjoy a relaxed day outdoors with music, food, coffee, market stalls, animals and a great community atmosphere.

The obstacle course is ready for anyone who wants to take on the challenge, and there is also space to simply relax, browse the stalls and enjoy the park.

Look out for the orange balloons along Nigel Road and come join the fun.

🛍️ 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗 🛍️

Alongside the obstacle course action, there will be a variety of market stalls to enjoy at the Springs Central Air Scouts Obstacle Course & Market Day.

From hot drinks and baked treats to waffles, snacks, food stalls, sweets, fruit, ice cream, gifts and more! There will be something for the whole family to enjoy while spending the day in the park.

Come hungry, bring the family, support the stallholders, and enjoy a relaxed community day out while watching the competitors take on the course.
