With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our dearest Annecia Le Roux, our Branch Manager and Inspector, as she pursues new opportunities in Cape Town. ๐
Annecia has been the rock of our society for so many years. A shoulder to cry on, a steady hand through difficult days, and a determined voice for animals who could not speak for themselves. Her compassion, courage and dedication have meant so much to our staff, volunteers, community and every animal in her care.
Annecia, thank you for the long hours, the difficult decisions, the kindness and the countless times you went above and beyond. You have been everything we could have wished for and SO MUCH MORE. You leave very big shoes to fill, and we wish you nothing but the best for this next chapter. You will be dearly missed. ๐พ

Madelyn brings valuable experience from her time as an Inspector at Parys SPCA, where she also served on the committee and as Chairperson. More recently, she has worked as a National Inspector in the NSPCAโs Society Liaison Unit, supporting and guiding SPCAs, training staff and responding to animal welfare concerns and disasters. She also holds a qualification in Veterinary Technology, with further training in animal behaviour and nutrition.
She is so excited to help Springs SPCA grow from strength to strength, and we are just as excited to have her! She brings warmth, compassion and experience that we know will shine through every day. ๐
Please join us in wishing BOTH of these wonderful ladies luck on their new adventures. And please pop in to say hello to Madelyn... she would love to meet you! ๐พ
