Workshop Driver Wanted

Summary
We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused Professional Driver to operate our vehicles for deliveries. The ideal candidate delivers goods on time, maintains vehicle standards and represents the organisation with professionalism at every stop.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive heavy goods vehicles on scheduled routes
• Load and unload safely and verify delivery paperwork
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition; report defects promptly
• Follow all road safety regulations and organisation policies.
• Communicate with dispatch to confirm schedules, delays or issues
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, fuel and mileage
• Participate actively in inter-disciplinary team
Requirements
• National Register for S*x Offenders (NRSO) Certificate or Proof of Application
• Valid Code EC/10 with 3-5 years driving experience
• Valid current PDP (Professional Driving Permit) vehicle license
• Fluency in English, Afrikaans and Zulu will be an advantage
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks
• Physical fitness for loading/unloading and long hours
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and route navigation
• Experience in working with people with epilepsy and other intellectual disabilities will be an advantage
• Good report writing skills
• Clear criminal record
