Warm weather, is that you♨️🤭? It must be, because event 34 had less jackets🧥 and more short sleeves👕!! And the warmer the weather, the warmer the welcome for first timers, and the warmer the welcome back for those who have been hibernating😴🛏. Which of these two groups do you fall under🤔?

Whichever one you are, we can't wait to have you over, and hope we brighten your day like the sun did for the 🌳👟!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of Women's Month♀️🚺! And to celebrate this month, if you have any purple🟪🟣 , show it off during August with a ! Please check through your cupboards, wardrobes, or drawers and find something purple to wear to parkrun👒. Purple socks count🧦. Purple tutus definitely count👍. Purple underwear is entirely your own business👀🫣!

And because begins this saturday, or better known as a parkrun day🏃‍♀️👟, all you need to do to join is register at this link https://www.parkrun.co.za/register/ 🔗, find your closest parkrun on the website or app📲, and make your way there before the 8:00 AM start for a beautiful 5K🌳. Done!✅️✅️

Personal bests with your personal bestie for at Dorothy Nyembe parkrun🫂🌳! Event #30 had some friendly weather and friendlier parkrunners, parkwalkers and of course the volunteers who cheered everyone on👟🦺.

And a big shout out to those who involved their friends, judging from the amount of first-time evers, friends were brought, participated and celebrated, keep it up👍🎉.
