The energy was unmatched as Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026 officially kicks off in Durban yesterday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre for the official opening of Africa’s leading tourism trade showcase.

He was welcomed by Thami Ntuli, Patricia de Lille and Cyril Xaba as industry leaders, investors, buyers and media from across the globe gather to shape the future of African tourism.

Hosted from 12–14 May 2026 under the theme Unlimited Africa Growing Africa’s Tourism Economy,the Indaba continues to position Africa as a world-class destination for travel, culture, business and investment.
