Through the Community Outreach Programme, our goal is to introduce the youth to another way of solving problems creatively through Runway Modeling. In a nutshell, Runway Modeling is effective in equipping individuals with the self-confidence to face the world. However, most of this self-confidence is often based upon one’s own skill in executing runway techniques. In many cases, this “self-confidence” tends to make one grow arrogant towards others. This arrogance then becomes a tool used to overshadow other limitations in life apart from Runway, such as the ability to relate with others and to build deeper relationships.
Well, this is where the Community Outreach Programme comes in. For us and the team, Runway Modeling is a tool that we use to emphasize what we have taught our students, which is to trust and rely upon biblical principles found in 2 Timothy 1:7 and the rest of Scripture. Confidence is a God-given attribute. We believe that by teaching our students these biblical principles, we are helping to build a better world led by better leaders who know who they are without feeling the need to prove anything to anyone!
