Winds of Change is a youth organisation that is based in Doornkop in Soweto. The project is operating in a semi-informal settlement area that is charecterized with low income persons and where crime, drugs, alcohol, environmental pollution and human rights violations are prevalent. Through its programmes, the organisation seeks to change the mind-set of the community and to enreach a belief that your background should not determine your destination. The organisation members are passionate about the community development and we seek to uplift the community thereof. Furthermore, it has been noted that the key aspect to success is to cooperate with various stakeholders within and outside Doornkop.
