This International Day of the Girl Child, GaOmo1 Youth Club is partnering with Matla A Bana to raise awareness against violence and champion the safety, dignity and wellbeing of girls.
Our theme is: *“You Are Not Alone: Every Girl Deserves Safety, Dignity and Hope.”*
We will stand in solidarity with girls who have experienced violence and remind every girl that she is seen, valued and deserving of safety, dignity and a future.
As part of the session, we will also conclude our Comfort Pack Initiative by packaging and preparing the packs for handover to a local SAPS FCS unit, where they will bring comfort to brave children reporting abuse. Every pack is a message of love, care and support to a child in need.
Join us for a day of learning, empowerment, support and meaningful connection. We will learn how to recognise and respond to safety threats, build confidence through a self-defence lesson and prepare for the year end exams.
