Good morning, all leaders.

Please help us sign a petition in advocating and advancing the most optimal HIV prevention therapy to me made available in South Africa 🇿🇦.

Reason for signing:

The youth make up a significant portion of South Africa's population. Engaging them bring forth the reality that they do not fully harness their agency to act in policy spaces where decisions that affect their health ar deliberated. We need youth to be treated equally and capacitated. Further, the increase in HIV infections amongst youth and adolescents beg the desperate need to redress approaches to understanding this demographics' health seeking behavior.

Brand South Africa is hosting a dialogue session themed "A Disruptive Discussion on the Youth’s Experience of Democracy and the Need to Vote" on March 21st at Constitution Hill (South Africa) Human Rights Festival.

The session will primarily engage a diverse youth cohort to share their experiences over the 30 years of democracy in South Africa.

They had kindly request for my participation as a panellist in the dialogue session as a critical role player in the youth movement. Other identified speakers include representatives from the IEC, Brand South Africa’s Global South Africans network, and Author Malaika wa Azania.

The session will be moderated by Dr. Sizwe Mpofu, an Author, Scholar, and Media Innovator.

We are excited that Gcina Sawuka recognised as a key player in RSA advocating for youth issue's.
