Oagile Tshepo Foundation SA is a DSD-registered NPO based in Naledi, Soweto. Founded in 2021 in response to substance abuse, we evolved into Early Childhood Development after seeing that prevention starts in the first 6 years of life. We now train, feed, and equip unemployed caregivers with practical ECD skills, ensuring children in Naledi get the strong start they deserve and are less vulnerable to social ills like substance abuse later in life.

*Vision:*
A Naledi where every child 0-6 is school-ready because their caregiver is skilled, supported, and fed.

*Mission:*
To prevent social challenges like substance abuse by strengthening families at the foundation — training and feeding unemployed ECD caregivers in Naledi through free weekly workshops at Naledi Hall.*FOCUS*

*Oagile Tshepo Foundation SA has one focus with three parts:*

*1. TRAIN*
Free practical ECD skills workshops for unemployed caregivers every Tuesday to Thursday at Naledi Hall. We teach child development 0-6, nutrition, stimulation activities, and positive discipline.

*2. FEED*
Hot meals for every caregiver during training, plus grocery packs when available. We remove hunger so caregivers can learn and children can grow.

*3. EQUIP*
Link caregivers to DSD registration, basic home-daycare business skills, and referrals for grants, clinics, and social services. We build independence.

*We do NOT do:* Rehab, counselling, or formal Grade R teaching. We are prevention. We strengthen the home so the school system can succeed.. Join 47 followers for the latest updates.

📢 D-DAY IS HERE!

Today, the Minister of Social Development, Ms Sisisi Tolashe is at Mbekweni Community Sports Centre in Paarl, Western Cape, to lead an impactful Ministerial ICROP Outreach Programme aimed at bringing social security services closer to the people.

This outreach forms part of government’s commitment to ensuring that beneficiaries receive the right social grant, at the right time and place.
