I'm kagiso Kaygee Chairman and Founder of BathoPeleFoundation.

So with the cold weather settling in, many individuals in our community/neighborhoods are currently without the essential gear needed to stay safe and warm. We are reaching out to ask for your help.

We are collecting new or gently used winter items to distribute to those in need. If you have any of the following items to spare, please consider making a contribution:

• Warm Coats & Jackets (All sizes needed)

• Gloves, Scarves, and Beanies

• Insulated Boots

• Thermal Socks & Blankets etc

Every item donated goes directly to someone facing the chill without proper protection. Let’s work together to ensure no one is left out in the cold this season.

🌸 The Heart of Giving
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)

This week, my heart is full of gratitude. Through Spur South Africa’s generosity, a group of underprivileged children and elderly beneficiaries were treated to a beautiful day of joy, laughter, and love, a full sponsorship as part of Spur’s birthday celebration month.

For decades, Spur has been more than just a restaurant. They’ve been a symbol of family, warmth, and community... a place where people from all walks of life come together to share a meal and a moment of connection. Their act of kindness reminds us that Ubuntu is alive, that caring for one another is still the heartbeat of South Africa.

At Batho-Pele Foundation, this is what we live for, creating moments of hope for those who need it most. Today, I’m reminded that giving is not about how much we have, but how much love we pour into the lives of others.

May we all continue to live with thankful hearts and open hands. 💛
