Today, 05 June 2026, marks the 1st Anniversary of the Keeping Soshanguve Clean Campaign - a community movement dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility, public health, and civic pride across Soshanguve and surrounding communities.
Launched on World Environment Day on 05 June 2025, the campaign was initiated by Botshilu Private Hospital and has since grown into a powerful community-driven partnership supported by the community’s Ward 29, local businesses, community leaders, NGOs, SAPS, the Gauteng Department of Education, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, TMPD, and many dedicated stakeholders and volunteers committed to building a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful Soshanguve.
Over the past year, we have proven that meaningful change is possible when communities come together around a common purpose.
