Today, 05 June 2026, marks the 1st Anniversary of the Keeping Soshanguve Clean Campaign - a community movement dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility, public health, and civic pride across Soshanguve and surrounding communities.

Launched on World Environment Day on 05 June 2025, the campaign was initiated by Botshilu Private Hospital and has since grown into a powerful community-driven partnership supported by the community’s Ward 29, local businesses, community leaders, NGOs, SAPS, the Gauteng Department of Education, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, TMPD, and many dedicated stakeholders and volunteers committed to building a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful Soshanguve.

School Drive Success✨

On 14 November 2025, we visited Ikhwezilethemba Primary School to educate young minds about the importance of cleanliness and caring for the environment.

During the visit, learners actively engaged in discussions about recycling, proper waste disposal, and protecting the environment. They also participated in hands-on activities, including cleaning up the school grounds showing that learning about environmental care can be fun and impactful.

Together, we can raise a generation that loves our environment and keeps Soshanguve green and clean!💚♻️
