Soshanguve Arts and Culture Forum is an organization that was established in 2005 as a Non- Profit Organization (NPO) that develops, craft and groom aspiring artists in various aspects of Arts and Culture as well as restoring the practice of our African Heritage within Tshwane region. Soshanguve Arts and Culture Forum through its devotion of not just practicing, teaching and facilitating art but i
njecting and transmitting the vested knowledge and extensive skills acquired by its facilitators and members through numerous years. Through its hard work and commitment big brands came on-board and sponsored the cause i.e. National Lottery Board Trust Fund (NLBTF). It has worked hand and glove with old and budding NPO/NGO’s within and beyond its sector. Our purpose was not to eliminate or reduce the rate of crime, teen pregnancy and etc… but was to avail a life skills hub that can develop and change perspective and behaviour by impacting lives through music and storytelling within the society of Tshwane. Soshanguve Arts and Culture Forum purpose wasn’t to challenge or compete against the likes of Soweto, Alexandra, Tembisa and etc… but to embrace and up-rise the surface of community theatre within the Tshwane region primarily in Soshanguve. Our areas of specialty are music & Instrumental, drama, poetry, script writing, dance, dee jaying, fine art, graphite, crafting and sings so as to develop and incubate teens and youth and give them platforms to prosper on global markets. The purposes of this organisation are to scout, train and place every candidate who has acquired full skills through our development and incubation process.
